Refund Policy:

To receive a refund, students must cancel at least 8 days before the first day of the session they originally enrolled in. If a student transfers to another session, no refund will be given.  The cancellation deadlines are also listed on the Session Dates page: https://www.newenglandlanguage...

Failure to attend class does not constitute course cancellation or withdrawl. NELS does not provide refunds for classes missed.

If a class is cancelled before it starts, students enrolled in the class will receive a full refund or a credit towards another class at NELS.

No make-up policy*:

If a student misses a class for any reason, NELS will not provide make-up classes. The teacher will email the student the homework if the student requests the homework for the class missed.

*If NELS cancels a class due to weather or teacher absence on or after the start date, students will receive a make-up class on a specific date. If a student misses the assigned make-up class, the student forfeits the make-up class.

Private Lessons (1 student):

Private students may reschedule lessons if they give 24 hours notice. If a private student cancels a lesson less than 24 hours before the lesson start time, the student will forfeit the lesson time for that scheduled lesson.

Textbooks:

Textbooks are not included in the course price. Students may rent or buy the books online.
